Home of the Katsunami Budokai Dojo where Traditional Japanese Karate is taught.
Our Chief Instructor is Shihan Chris Malch (5th Dan). AAKA was founded by Kyoshi Jim King (7th Dan).

After School
AAKA is the home of the Original Transported After School Martial Arts Program, a constructive alternative to daycare, extended day and baby-sitting for children after school. This Transported After School Martial Arts (TASMA) program was created and perfected by Kyoshi Jim King since 1991. There is no expectation of child care at our school, we are an open access, free to come and go facility and children stay here at the direction of their parents and because they want to learn the martial arts that are taught here.

Summer Camp
Make this a fun and learning summer! Our summer camp operates from 7:30am - 6:15pm Monday - Friday with Field Trips to go swimming and every Friday something different!

Evening Classes
We have Classes for Children on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00pm - 7:00pm and for Adults on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.

In addition to Karate and other Martial Art Styles, we teach a variety of weapons classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm - 7:00 pm.

WE GIVE COURTESY DISCOUNTS TO POLICE, FIRE & RESCUE, SCHOOL TEACHERS, & ACTIVE MILITARY HERE AT AAKA.
