Our Philosophy
To help students learn to listen and set goals and stick to the tasks at hand to achieve their goals, this is a discipline. We do this through announcing rules to follow and behaviors to learn and making sure they know these expectations. We use a method called: Praise, Correction, Praise. Students respond and learn and retain better by using this positive teaching method.
We believe that one should always earn their way by producing first and asking last. Anything of value has to be worked for and earned. Our karate is based on the philosophy that we should never start fights but learn to settle differences through a point of view of empowerment which is learned through training.
All fights should be avoided but one should stand their ground verbally if one is right. One should be able to physically protect one's self if physically threatened. You won't need golden gloves if you have a silver tongue. It is said that there is no first strike in karate.

I believe that you cannot tell an Eagle Scout or a true Black Belt that they cannot accomplish something in life.
